Pierre Manzone RBA NEAC
Pierre Manzone was born in Monaco in 1915. Son of a shoemaker Pierre began painting at the age of 10.
At the age of just 14 he was accepted as a student at the School of Fine Art in Monaco. Pierre was strongly influenced by his mentor Jean-Gabriel Domergue who's art was both playful and sensual, devoted to the beauty of women.
After a career in the French Navy he embarked on a world tour to persue his art, settling finally in Marseille where he married Jeanne Biamino.
Gifted with artistic talent, Manzone's paintings explore various figurative forms with a strong leaning towards neo-impressionism.
Pierre Manzone died in 2005 at the age of 49 in La Turbie, France.
