Valeriya Lakrisenko

Valeriya Lakrisenko is a professional painter and has been painting for more than 10 years. She graduated from Saint-Petersburg Academy of Arts, Department of Paintings, V. Pesikov's workshop and B. Ioganson St. Petersburg State Academy Art Lyceum.

Valeriya was raised by a strong classical art school and her education gave her indispensable experience and a diverse set of skills, including solid drawing technique and anatomy knowledge. She has worked with different styles and materials on her way to forming  her own language. Now dedicating her life to art, her aim is to refine her own artistic style; "I'm happy to be able to dedicate my life to art. I put my heart and soul into my artworks, and I am honoured that many of my artworks have been noticed".

The Russian artist's  drawings and paintings were repeatedly included in the annual exhibition of the best artistic works of Saint-Petersburg Academy of Arts. As a reward for her great achievements in education, Valeriya has had the honour of having many of her works being selected for the academy's own collection.

Valeriya Lakrisenko's works are in private collections and museums and she has also won prizes in numerous international competitions.
