E. Gayac
Gayac of Spanish origin was a graphic artist renowned for his slightly erotic 1920's paintings that were reproduced and issued as postcards, these were mainly published by P J Gallias. His style in this medium anticipated the "Pin-up Girl". Gayac's early work was reproduced in the late 19th century in such periodicals as Paris's 'Le Rire'. Influenced by Felicien Rops, his original etchings evidence a much darker symbolist style.
