Lewis Mitchell
Lewis Mitchell was born in Penzance in 1938.
Mitchell's landscape paintings are pure colour with an eye for attention to detail. His paintings are often fantastical, with ships, aeroplanes and balloons passing through the Cornish landscape.'
His work has been exhibited at a number of galleries in Cornwall and further afield. He was represented by David Cross Gallery in Bristol for 15 years.
The Cornish artist has also held numerous exhibitions in Denmark and France.
